Fengyuan Roots Blowers Support MMK Steel Plant in Russia
MMK is the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Company, a Russian steel conglomerate. Founded in 1929, the company is located approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Urals, between Mount Magnitsky (Phosphorus Iron Mountain) and the Ural River (the river that separates Europe and Asia).
Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Company first produced iron in 1932 and began producing steel and steel products in 1933. By the eve of the Great Patriotic War, it had built four each of a beneficiation plant, a sintering plant, a coke oven, and a blast furnace, 16 open-hearth furnaces, and 11 rolling mills.
